POCO’s latest premium midrange phone is out, and it’s called the POCO X8s.
The POCO X8s is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, a 4nm chipset with the POCO 3D IceLoop system. It is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
There’s a compact and premium 6.35-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, 3,500-nit peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate.
Xiaomi has included an ultra-fast 100W wired charging for the 6,330mAh battery.
A 50-megapixel main camera is on the back, which uses a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 sensor. It is joined by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 20-megapixel shooter for selfies.
It is IP68 dust- and water-resistant and ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
The POCO X8s is available in select markets with an early-bird price of USD399 (~Php25,500) and USD499 (~Php31,900) for the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, respectively. No word yet if it’s coming to the Philippines.
