ASUS releses its very own smartphone equipped with digital TV feature.
A lot of our local brands here in the Philippine has long embraced the digital TV feature in their smartphones as Filipinos love to watch Television shows wherever they are. Most international brands overlooked this feature, as it’s not in demand in other countries. Now, Taiwanese electronics giant decided to make one of their own.
There’s not much going on in here as the ASUS Zenfone Go TV only use average internals. It has a 5.5-inch HD screen, quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM. In terms of connectivity, it has all the important ones such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and LTE. It also uses the iconic Zenfone design which has been the basis for numerous models after the Zenfone 2.

The TV Tuner inside the Zenfone Go TV is made by Sony – IC SMT0EW100. In order to use it, you would need to be in a place where you can pick up digital TV signals or else you would be staring at a blank screen. The good news is more and more areas in the country are getting it. As for the availability, there’s no information about it yet.
