DJI has introduced the new Osmo Mobile 8, which builds on its predecessor and offers minor but welcome improvements.
The new DJI Osmo Mobile 8 now offers 360-degree rotation and pans. What’s more, it now supports DockKit, allowing you to use its track and follow features with various apps, like FaceTime, and not be limited to DJI’s.

We still have the Osmo Mobile 7‘s Multifunctional Module, which attaches to the stronger and more secure Magnetic Phone Clamp 4.
It offers tons of features like an LED fill light, a wireless receiver for DJI microphones, and a camera for tracking subjects using third-party camera apps.

What’s more, the module can now track other subjects like your pet dog or cat. Since its magnets are stronger, it can now support bigger phones with heavier cameras.
We still have the retractable tripod feet and a built-in extension rod for taking selfies or high/low-angle shots.

It features a battery that lasts up to 10 hours and charges via USB-C, with support for reverse charging.
We also have support for the latest ActiveTrack 7.0 and dual-camera tracking via the DJI Mimo app.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 has been released in China for CNY898 (~Php7,400), which includes the Magnetic Phone Clamp 4, multifunction tracking module, charging cable, one long and one short USB-C cable, and a carrying pouch. The VLog kit retails for CNY997 (~Php8,200) and includes a DJI Mic Mini.
