HONOR also has a brand-new smartwatch, the HONOR Watch GS 5.
The new HONOR Watch GS 5 was announced alongside the Magic8 Pro Air and the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design. But unlike those two, this watch is relatively more affordable.
Still, you get a pretty premium design with a 44mm aluminum alloy case and a classic look with its circular 1.32-inch AMOLED screen offering 1,500 nits of peak brightness. The rear panel is made of reinforced polymer fiber.
It only weighs 26g, is 9.9mm thick, and comes with a single side button. It is also IP68 dust and water-resistant and has a 5ATM rating. You can pair it with a black and beige leather strap.
It also helps in the research for sudden cardiac arrest screening and also offers cardiovascular risk assessment, which HONOR claims makes it the only smartwatch to do so.
Moreover, the watch can provide early warnings for conditions such as sleep apnea, atrial fibrillation, irregular heart rhythms, and premature beats. It also offers 24/7 heart monitoring for heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep HRV, and stress.
It can last for up to 24 days without AOD or 9 days with AOD on, thanks to its 495mAh silicon-carbon battery.
What’s more, it works with devices running on Android 6.0 or later and iOS 9.0 or later. It then has Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, five different satellite positioning systems, NFC, and has a built-in microphone and speakers for voice calls.
The HONOR Watch GS 5 is now listed in China for CNY699 (~Php5,900).
