OPPO’s flagship phone event in China was also the stage for the release of a couple of accessories, including the OPPO Watch S.
The OPPO Watch S is an entry-level smartwatch that has a classic circular design with a stainless-steel case that’s impressively thin at just 8.9mm and weighs just 35g. It’s available in rubber, leather, and fabric watch straps.

What’s more, it is IP68 dust and water resistant and is 5ATM water resistant.
There’s a large 1.46-inch AMOLED display, with a 464 x 464 pixel resolution, ~317ppi, and 1500-nit of peak brightness. It runs on ColorOS Watch 7.1 with a power-efficient BES2800BP processor and 4GB EEMC storage.

On the back, there’s a new 16-channel optical pulse oximeter and an 8-channel optical heart rate sensor that improves accuracy. The dual-frequency GPS tracks your workout routes more accurately.
OPPO also included an AI Sports Coach and supports over 100 workout modes. The battery lasts for up to 10 days, 7 days under regular use, or 4 days with AOD on.

What’s more, the Watch S has a fall detection feature, ECG analysis, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and works with both Android and iOS.
The OPPO Watch S is now listed in China for CNY1,299 (~Php10,600) or CNY1,499 (~Php12,200) for the dual-tone Green model. It should come out globally alongside the Find X9, Find X9 Pro, and Pad 5.
