The Redmi Watch 6 has finally been unveiled with a thinner design and an extra new button.
Similar to its predecessor, the Redmi Watch 6 has a 2.07-inch OLED display with smooth, rounded corners and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits for comfortable outdoor use.

Xiaomi also made it thinner at just 9.94mm from 11.3mm. Also, thanks to the thinner bezel, the overall size of the device is now down to 46.5 x 40 x 9.94mm from 47.5 x 41.1 x 11.3mm.
Plus, it’s now lighter at 31g from 33.5g.

A big addition here is the new shortcut button, joining the stainless steel crown. You can assign what a single press, a long press, and a double press do.
It’s got a 550mAh battery, just like last time. It can last for up to 24 days of light usage, up to 12 days with health tracking on, and 7 days with AOD enabled.

Speaking of health tracking, it has the usual heart-rate and blood oxygen sensors, sleep tracking, over 150 sports modes, and dual L1 antennas for tracking outdoor workouts.
It runs on HyperOS 3 and supports third-party apps. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC.

The Redmi Watch 6 is now listed in China for CNY599 (~Php4,900). Global release details are yet to be announced.
