Rokid has a new pair of smart glasses, the Rokid AI Glasses Style, and it aims to take on the Ray-Ban Meta.
In fact, others say the Rokid AI Glasses Style is the best Ray-Ban Meta alternative, for now, at least. Possibly not until Android XR devices arrives.
As the name suggests, the new glasses have a sleek design and is said to be the lightest smart glasses in the market weighing at just 38.5 grams.
The company is also giving buyers 11 prescription lens options.
It then has a 12-megapixel camera on the left side, offering native formats of 4:3, 3:4, and 9:16. Each temples have their own open-ear speakers and microphones.
You’d be using the speakers and mic to play music, make calls, and of course, talk to the built-in AI assistant powered by ChatGPT GPT 5.
It offers quick answers to any questions, can provide navigation guides, meeting summaries, and real-time translations through 89 different languages.
The AI Glasses Style has a 210mAh battery, promising a longevity of up to 12 hours on a single charge. You can also get it with an optional charging case with a 3,000mAh battery and a 1,700mAh capsule battery.
Available in Jet Black and Translucent colorways, the Rokid AI Glasses Style has a price of USD299 (~Php17,700) and USD309 (~Php18,300), respectively.
