TCL is at IFA Berlin 2025 and announced a couple of new devices made for kids and teenagers, and one portable projector.

Launched alongside the NXTPAPER 5G Junior smartphone is the TCL MoveTime MT48 smartwatch and TCL PlayCube projector.

TCL-MoveTime-MT48

The MoveTime MT48 has a plastic design clearly made for kids. It has a 1.68-inch touchscreen with thick bezels, and is available in a his and hers colorway.

It is equipped with a 900mAh battery that lasts for up to 2.5 hours with endurance mode on. Plus, it has 4G connectivity, VoLTE, dual-band GPS, and supports text messages and video calls, so you can keep track of your kids.

The MoveTime MT48 will be available in Europe this October for EUR150 (~Php9,900).

TCL-PlayCube

Meanwhile, the TCL PlayCube is a projector that runs on Google TV, giving you instant access to apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+. It comes with an OSRAM 3-color LED light with 750 lumens of brightness.

It then has a 30 to 150-inch projection area with a 1.21:1 projection ratio. It also boasts automatic keystone correction and autofocus, 5W built-in speakers, and Dolby Audio. The 66Wh built-in battery lasts for up to 3 hours on a single charge.

Under the hood, we have a MediaTek MT9630 processor, with WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. Port selection includes 1x HDMI, 1x USB 2.0, an audio port, and a 3.5mm output. It measures at 149.8 x 96.6 x 96.6mm, weighs 1.3kg, and has an all-black Rubik’s cube-like design.

The TCL PlayCube retails for EUR799 (~Php53,200) and will soon be available in Europe, Japan, and the United States.
