Xiaomi has created a pretty cool and niche accessory for the Xiaomi 18 Pro: A Pocket Guitar.
The Xiaomi Pocket Guitar is a smart accessory that magnetically attaches to the back of the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. It sits below the secondary display on the back.
It has a hinge and folds in half when not in use. When opened, one side has a row of chords that works like a fretboard, while the other has a textured surface with ridges that mimic guitar strings.
The accessory’s form factor looks like a magnetic card holder, which means you can also use it like a phone stand.
It then pairs to your phone over Bluetooth. On the device, you need to have a karaoke app called Changba to control he accessory. The rear display lets you see guitar controls and other important information while playing.
The accessory comes with its own 630mAh battery that Xiaomi claims can last for up to 30 days of use. It charges via the USB-C port.
Those in China can now get the Xiaomi Pocket Guitar for CNY599 (~Php5,600). It’s available in Black and Red.
