Alongside its latest Redmi Note 15 smartphones, Xiaomi has introduced a new wearable device: the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses.
The glasses look like classic eyewear but have a hidden speaker system and four microphones built into the frames. This “open-ear” design allows users to listen to music or take calls while still being aware of ambient sounds around them, a feature marketed for city use. Xiaomi says the glasses include wind noise reduction technology and a new “privacy mode” to minimize sound leakage during calls.

Available in three styles, they are the Titanium, Pilot-Style, and Browline models. The frames are designed to be lightweight, with the Titanium version weighing 27.6 grams. The Pilot-Style comes with UV-protection sunglass lenses, while the other two models feature lenses with blue light filtering. All lenses can be replaced with prescription options.
Durability features include a hinge tested to withstand being opened and closed 15,000 times, and an IP54 rating for resistance to dust and light splashes.
Battery life is a key focus. The glasses contain two small batteries for a total of 114mAh capacity, promising up to 13 hours of continuous music playback on a full charge. A 10-minute quick charge is said to provide about 4 hours of use, with a full charge taking roughly one hour.

Control is handled through a touch panel on the frame’s arms and a companion smartphone app called Xiaomi Glasses. The app lets users customize touch gestures, for example to activate a phone’s voice assistant. It also includes a feature to help locate lost glasses. The glasses can connect to two devices at once, like a phone and a laptop, and include recording functions. An LED light on the frame turns on during recording to notify others.
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Audio Glasses will be sold at different price points in the Philippines. The Titanium model will start at Php12,999, while the Browline and Pilot-Style versions will start at Php10,999.
