HONOR Philippines has officially launched its latest foldable, the Magic V5.
The HONOR Magic V5 managed to be even thinner than its predecessor, the Magic V3, which used to be the thinnest in the market. This one is only 41mm thin when opened and 8.8mm when folded. It is even IP58/59 dust and water-resistant.
It also boasts a bigger 5,820mAh battery, from 5,150mAh. The same 66W wired and 50W wireless charging are here. It is powered by one of the best chips in the market today, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The main foldable display uses a 7.95-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 2352 x 2172 pixel resolution. The cover screen has a 6.43-inch panel, which is LTPO at 120Hz. The outer screen is protected by an Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield.
Both displays have their own 20-megapixel cameras. The rear has a 50-megapixel main shooter with a bright f/1.6 aperture, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 64-megapixel sensor with a 70mm telephoto lens.
It’s not a 2025 phone without AI. Hence, the Magic V5 is equipped with Google Gemini, AI Call Translation, AI Deepfake Detection, AI Motion Sickness Relief, and more.
