HONOR officially introduced its latest flagship phone, the HONOR Magic9.
The HONOR Magic9 boasts a whopping 8,000mAh battery, paired with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Being a flagship device, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a compact 6.37-inch 120Hz OLED screen.
Let’s get to the interesting part: the cameras. There’s a 200-megapixel 1/1.4-inch sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and CIPA 7.5 stabilization. It is joined by another 200-megapixel sensor for the periscope lens, with the same stabilization, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 55-megapixel selfie snapper.
A big highlight here is the Arri branding, a German camera company known for cinema cameras, which was tapped to co-develop the device’s camera system. The Magic9 also works with HONOR’s own teleconverter lens.
The device is also equipped with HONOR H1, an imaging chip that boasts 18.8 TOPS/watt of AI performance.
It also has tons of AI features. HONOR also boasts that you can use it with an Apple Watch and share notifications with an iPhone.
The HONOR Magic9 has a starting price of CNY4,999 (~Php46,700) in China. It should arrive in the Philippines in the coming months.
