HONOR has two new phones in China, the HONOR Win and Win RT. These phones are made for gaming, equipped with enormous batteries, active cooling fans, and powerful hardware. Let’s firs look at the vanilla HONOR Win.
Like the RT, the HONOR Win boasts an extra large 10,000mAh battery. It is of silicon-carbon material, so it stays relatively thin at 8.3mm.
It’s been aptly paired with an ultra-fast 100W wired charging, with the Win model exclusively getting fast 80W wireless charging.
The duo also boasts ultra-fast 185Hz refresh rate on their large 6.83-inch OLED displays with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits and 5,920Hz PWM Dimming. Stereo speakers provide the music.
What really sets them apart are the processors and cameras. The Win has a 50-megapixel main shooter with optical image stabilization, 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and 50-megapixel selfie camera.
The vent for the active cooling fan sits symmetrically with the cameras on the back. It spins at 25,000rpm to improve cooling on the on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU.
Those in China can get the HONOR Win for CNY3,999 (~Php33,600) for the 12GB/256GB model, CNY4,499 (~Php37,900) for the 12GB/512GB, CNY4,799 (~Php40,400) for the 16GB/512GB, and CNY5,299 (~Php44,600) for the 16GB/1TB. No word yet if it’s coming out internationally.
