HUAWEI is the latest brand to release an “Air” smartphone. Meet the new HUAWEI Mate 70 Air.
The HUAWEI Mate 70 Air is only 6.6mm thin. Not the thinnest “Air” phone, but it does have the biggest screen with its 7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It also has one of the biggest batteries with its 6,500mAh capacity, an impressive feat for its size. It charges via the fast 66W adapter. Sadly, it may have made the device heavier than usual at 208g.
The device comes in two chipset options. The Kirin 9020A has 12GB of RAM while the Kirin 9020B has 16GB. You can have them with up to 512GB of storage.
HUAWEI’s chipset brings WiFi 7 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.2. Satellite connectivity through China’s Beidou satellite is also available.
The camera department wasn’t overlooked, either. We have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel RYYB sensor for the 3x telephoto lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 10.7-megapixel sensor for selfies.
You can get the HUAWEI Mate 70 Air 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB with Kirin 9020A for CNY4,199 (~Php34,800) and CNY4,699 (~Php38,900), respectively. The 16GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB models with Kirin 9020B retail for CNY4,699 (~Php38,900) and CNY5,199 (~Php43,100), respectively.
