HUAWEI held a launch event in China for the Mate 80 series, and it won’t be complete without the reveal of an RS Ultimate Design option.
The HUAWEI Mate 80 RS Ultimate inherits almost all of its hardware from the Mate 80 Pro Max. Both have a Kirin 9030 Pro processor, a large 6,000mAh battery, 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, and a 6.9-inch 2.8K LTPO OLED screen with an 8,000-nit peak brightness.
Both phones also have a 50-megapixel main camera with variable aperture, a 50-megapixel 4x periscope lens, another 50-megapixel with 6.2x zoom, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Going with the Mate 80 RS Ultimate entitles you to the most RAM in the series: 20GB.
Of course, the real benefit here is the aggressive design and premium materials. It has the octagonal camera island the RS line is known for, with sleek lines, and a titanium frame with 3rd-gen basalt tempered Kunlun glass.
It is also available in a chic yet intimidating Hibiscus Purple, Jet Black, and Pure White colorways.
The HUAWEI Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design has a starting price of CNY11,999 (~Php99,400) for the 20GB/512GB and CNY12,999 (~Php107,600) for the 20GB/1TB.
