HUAWEI Philippines just launched its latest premium foldable phone, the HUAWEI Mate X7.
The HUAWEI Mate X7 has an 8-inch foldable LTPO OLED screen with an 8:7.3 aspect ratio, 120Hz variable refresh rate, and 1440Hz PWM dimming. A more compact 6.49-inch secondary screen is on the outside.
What’s impressive is how HUAWEI managed to make it even thinner than its predecessor. This one now measures at just 9.5mm or 4.5mm when opened.
It also has upgraded dust and water protection, now rated at IP58/59.
Under the hood, there’s the new Kirin 9030 Pro processor, with a 5,600mAh battery, HarmonyOS 6, and support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. HUAWEI hasn’t confirmed if the local unit will have HarmonyOS or EMUI.
Cameras continue to be a priority for HUAWEI. This one has a 50-megapixel main sensor with variable aperture and optical image stabilization, another 50-megapixel with a 3.5x telephoto zoom, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide, and 8-megapixel selfie cameras for each of the displays.
The HUAWEI Mate X7 has an SRP of Php119,999 and is available on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and HUAWEI Online Store.
Until February 26, you can get it with a free HUAWEI Watch GT 5, a Php10,000 discount, up to Php12,000 of trade-in tokens, and a 1-year, 1-time accidental screen damage protection.
