HUAWEI’s latest high-end tablet, the MatePad 12.2 2025, has been launched in the Philippines.
The HUAWEI MatePad 12.2 2025 features a gigantic 12.2-inch OLED screen with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, a 3:2 aspect ratio that’s great for multitasking, 2,000-nit peak brightness, and a PaperMatte coating that reduces reflection and provides a paper-like feel when using the 3rd-gen M-Pencil stylus.
Apart from the stylus, it will also ship with a magnetic keyboard. The combo provides a laptop-like experience, paired with the preinstalled PC-level WPS Office app.
HarmonyOS is equipped with seamless app window management, a robust Notes app, a dense GoPaint app, and the latest WiFi 7 standards for fast and reliable connectivity.
Powering the device is a Kirin T92A processor with 12GB of RAM and generous 512GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a large 1,100mAh battery with an extra-fast 100W fast charging.
There’s a 50-megapixel main camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 2025 has an SRP of Php49,999 in the Philippines. It is available for pre-order from July 11 to 17, 2025 on Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, HUAWEI Online Store, and physical stores nationwide.
You can get a Php2,000 early-bird voucher on the online channels. Plus, reserved units will come with Php28,895 worth of freebies that includes a HUAWEI Glide Keyboard, M-Pencil, Watch Fit 3, Bluetooth Mouse, and PC-level WPS Office Suite license.
