In the market for a compact yet premium tablet that’s not the iPad mini? HUAWEI has made one, and it’s called the — you guessed it — the HUAWEI MatePad Mini.
The HUAWEI MatePad Mini has a compact 8.8-inch OLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and 1,800-nit peak brightness. You can get the Soft Light version of the device for that anti-glare coating.

As with their other mobile devices, HUAWEI didn’t say what chipset they used on this one. What they did confirm is that it will have 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
A compact 6,400mAh battery keeps the lights on, paired with a speedy 66W charger.

HUAWEI didn’t skimp in the camera department. There’s a 50-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a sharp 32-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Connectivity features include the latest WiFi 7 standard and Bluetooth 5.2.

The HUAWEI MatePad Mini 12GB/256GB retails for CNY3,899 (~Php31,100), 12GB/512GB for CNY4,399 (~Php35,000), and 12GB/512GB/Soft Light for CNY4,899 (~Php39,000). It’s now listed in China alongside the new Mate XTs Ultimate.
