HUAWEI has introduced a cheaper flip phone, the nova Flip S.
The HUAWEI nova Flip S shares the same design and almost identical specs to the nova Flip that was launched back in August. But obviously, the “S” means that this is a cheaper option.

HUAWEI was able to make it cheaper by using a downgraded processor. It is powered by an unnamed Kirin 8 series chip, which rumors claim is the Kirin 8030. The nova Flip comes with a Kirin 8000.
We still have a tall 6.94-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. A second screen is on the cover, which uses a 2.14-inch OLED panel.

It sits next to the 50-megapixel RYYB sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is on the main display.
Keeping the lights on is a decent 4,400mAh battery, with 66W wired charging, and runs on HarmonyOS 5.1.

The HUAWEI nova Flip S has a starting price of CNY3,388 (~Php27,600), while the nova Flip starts at CNY5,288 (~42,500).
