Infinix has unveiled a new entry-level device, and it packs some serious hardware for an affordable smartphone with an ultra-thin design. Let’s check out the new Infinix Hot 60i.
The Infinix Hot 60i features a sleek frame that measures only 7.7mm in thickness and is available in a range of vibrant colors, including Soul Eye Purple, Meadow Green, Neon Red, and Shadow Blue.
Durability is also a big deal here. It is IP64 dust and water-resistant and has been reinforced in four corners for a drop resistance from a height of 1.5 meters.
Infinix is boasting its large battery density despite the device’s sleek profile. It has a 5.160mAh capacity with an 810Wh/L energy density. Infinix claims it can last for up to 1800 charge cycles, which translates to a 5-year battery lifespan.
As with a lot of Infinix budget phones, the new Hot 60i comes with a 45W adapter that provides a 1-50% charge in just 24 minutes. Overnight Charging Protection is also here.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset, backed by Infinix’s Hard Gyro technology for motion control in games.
It also has robust GPS antennas so you can still navigate in underground parking, streets with tall buildings, and more. Infinix’s UltraLink features let you make calls and send messages even without cell coverage. DeepSeek AI is also here.
For the display, we have a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on top with its own flash. A 50-megapixel main shooter is on the back.
The Infinix Hot 60i is now available in Bangladesh with a starting price of BDT13,999 (~6,500). Release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
