LG has announced a new tablet running on the latest Android software.
The LG G Pad III is a follow-up to the not-so-popular but competent G Pad series. As the name suggests, there’s an 8-inch TFT screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 16.7M colors. Powering the device is an octa-core processor together with 2GB of RAM. The 16GB internal storage is expandable, and the user can add up to 128GB via microSD card.
The tablet measures at 210.7 x 124.1 x 7.9mm and weighs 309g. There’s a 5-megapixel shooter in front and at the back of the device. One interesting feature that LG built-in is the Reader mode, which calibrates the display to lessen eye strain during night time.
