The Nothing Phone 2a just got a new Plus version with a better chipset, upgraded camera, faster charging, and two new colorways.
For the new Nothing Phone 2a Plus, you’re getting the new MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. It is basically an overclocked version of the Phone 2a‘s Dimensity 7200 Pro but MediaTek created only for this device.
It uses the same cores, but are now clocked at 3.0GHz (from 2.8GHz). It also has a Mali-G610 MC3 GPU clocked at 1.3GHz. Nothing claims that it offers 10% better CPU and 30% GPU performance.
The Plus version also boasts a 50-megapixel selfie camera, versus the 32-megapixel of the former.
Another major change is the wired charging speed, which is now at 50W from 45W. Other than that, everything else is the same.
It still has a 5,000mAh battery, 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen at 120Hz, two 50-megapixel rear cameras, and Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.6 with ChatGPT integration.
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus comes in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB versions for a price of INR27,999 (~Php19,500) and INR29,999 (~Php20,900), respectively. It will be available in India starting August 7, while release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
