OnePlus’s new 2025 Nord phones are here, and for today, we’ll be looking at the new OnePlus Nord CE5, which boasts an extra-large battery.
The new OnePlus Nord CE5 boasts a large 7,100mAh battery — the biggest ever found on a OnePlus phone. The company claims it can last for more than 2 days of casual use, more than 27 hours of watching YouTube, or more than 9 hours of playing AAA games.
OnePlus also guarantees it can retain at least 80% of its battery health even after 4 years. It is paired with an 80W SUPERVOOC adapter with support for Bypass Charging that draws power directly from the charger to reduce heat while gaming.
Being a budget phone, it comes with the trusty MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. It will receive 4 years of Android upgrades and 6 years of security patches on top of the Android 15 OS it ships with.
We then have a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate and a 16-megapixel selfie camera on top. A 50-megapixel main camera on the back uses an LYT-600 sensor from Sony and comes with optical image stabilization.
That main lens is joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. OnePlus also brought the RAW HDR and Real Tone features from the flagship OnePlus 13 series. Sadly, it only has a single loudspeaker, no stereo.
The OnePlus Nord CE5 has an SRP of Php19,990 in the Philippines for 8GB/128GB. It’s now available for pre-order on select Digital Walker and open-source stores until July 20. Check out the included freebies below.
