OPPO’s latest midrange phone, the OPPO A6 Pro, is extra durable and carries an extra-large battery.
The OPPO A6 Pro is IP66, IP68, and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance, can handle 8,000KPa of hot water pressure, and 1.5 meters of water submerssion for 30 minutes. You can also use it even if you have wet or oily hands.
OPPO also brags that it can survive drops from up to a height of 2.5 meters, continuous drops from 1.5 meters, and even being dropped at a height of 0.5 meters 1,830 times.
This is all thanks to its aerospace-grade aluminum frame and Crystal Shield Glass on the front. OPPO also boasts a 360-degree antenna integrated into the frame, which increases low-frequency transmission by 200%.
Another highlight feature is the enormous 7,000mAh battery, which OPPO claims can retain 80% of its battery health even after an impressive 1,830 charging cycles. Charging is done via the 80W adapter.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
A 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization is on the back, joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
There’s a 16-megapixel selfie sensor on top of the 6.57-inch FHD+ display, which uses an OLED panel with a high 120Hz refresh rate.
The OPPO A6 Pro 8GB/256GB retails for CNY1,799 (~Php14,400), 12GB/256GB for CNY1,999 (~Php16,000), 16GB/256GB for CNY2,199 (~Php17,600), and 16GB/512GB for CNY2,499 (~Php20,000). They will be available in China starting September 12, while the international release is yet to be announced.
