OPPO is taking mobile gaming seriously with the new OPPO K13 Turbo Pro.
The OPPO K13 Turbo Pro, like the non-Pro version it comes with, boasts a micro centrifugal fan to keep it cool. It spins at up to 18,000 RPM, which can improve heat dissipation by 20%. The fan is attached to a 7,000mm2 vapor chamber.
This extensive thermal management system will help cool its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor so you can play games longer. This 4nm chip is paired with an Adreno 825 processor, with up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB of RAM.
Another highlight feature is the large 7,000mAh battery, which OPPO claims can remain healthy after 5 years. It ships with 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and has bypass charging support.
What’s more, it boasts a large 6.8-inch OLED screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The device benefits from frame generation, resolution upscaling, and Super HDR for better graphics.
Stereo speakers provide the audio while the X-axis linear motors give solid haptic feedback. It also enjoys the latest WiFi 7 connectivity.
Unlike other OPPO phones, photography was put on the back burner for the new Turbo phones. It only has a 50-megapixel main camera on the back and a 13-megapixel one on the front.
OPPO also highlighted its IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The OPPO K13 Turbo Pro has a starting price of CNY1,999 (~Php15,800) for the 12GB/256GB model and goes up to CNY2,699 (~Php21,400) for the top-tier 16GB/512GB variant. Whether it’s coming to the Philippines or not is yet to be known.
