Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi 15 5G with an enormous battery, display, and a Qualcomm processor.
The Redmi 15 5G boasts a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. Xiaomi claims it lasts for up to 2.26 days of normal use, up to 25 hours of continuous video playback, and a whopping 108 hours of music playback.
Xiaomi also highlighted its 1% power endurance, which can still provide you with up to 59 minutes of calls. It can also retain at least 80% of its battery health even after 1,600 charging cycles.
Speaking of charging, you can share the large battery with other devices, as the Redmi 15’s fast 18W reverse wired charging feature lets you use it like a power bank. The device itself charges at up to 33W speeds.
We also have a large 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS display with up to 144Hz refresh rate. Wet Touch Technology 2.0 lets you use the screen even if it’s wet.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and Android 15 OS with Google Gemini. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on the front and a 50-megapixel main camera on the back.
Those who are in Malaysia can now get the Redmi 15 5G for MYR729 (~Php9,800). Release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
