Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 15 series in China, starting with the Note 15 Pro models.
There’s the new Redmi Note 15 Pro and the one we’ll be focusing on today, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor cooled by a 5200mm2 vapor chamber. It is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Like the non-Plus model, it has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color, and 3,200-nit peak brightness. It is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass.
The duo also boasts an ultra-large 7,000mAh battery, with the Plus model enjoying a faster 90W charging.
Sadly, both models will be reusing their predecessors’ cameras. The Note 15 Pro Plus has a 50-megapixel main camera, another sharp 50-megapixel sensor with 2.5x optical zoom for portraits, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is on the front.
Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Pro phones run on the latest Android 15-based HyperOS 2. The extent of the software support was not mentioned, but it should get at least four years of updates and six years of security patches, like its predecessor.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus is now listed in China. The 12GB/256GB base model retails for CNY1,899 (~Php15,100), 12GB/512GB for CNY2,099 (~Php16,600), and 16GB/512GB for CNY2,299 (~Php18,200). It should arrive in the Philippines in the coming months, so be on the lookout for that.
