Samsung Philippines just brought two new Galaxy A-series devices to the country at the same time they became official globally. This is the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G 2026.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G 2026 landed in the Philippines together with the Galaxy A37 5G. Both devices, sadly, still ships with 5,000mAh batteries with 45W charging, while most of its competition already has 6,000mAh and up.
It is powered by an Exynos 1680 octa-core processor, with 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. That chip offers a 12.5% CPU performance bump, 13.8% in the GPU, and 42% in NPU power for AI tasks.
There’s also an upgraded Super AMOLED+ display panel with a high 1,900 nits peak brightness. It is also guaranteed to receive 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches.
The newer model is also much thinner at 6.9mm and lighter at 179g. The ingress protection rating was also improved to IP68.
For photography, we still have a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, but now with improved ISP. We still have 12-megapixel sensors for the ultra-wide and selfie cameras and 5-megapixel sensors for macro.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 2026 8GB/128GB retails for Php28,990, the top-tier 12GB/512GB is for Php37,990, while the 8GB/256GB is discounted for a limited time for Php29,490 from its SRP of Php30,990.
