Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy Z Flip7 with a bigger cover screen, battery, and more upgrades.
The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 now has a 4,300mAh battery, 300mAh larger than the predecessor. They achieved that while making the device thinner at 13.7mm when folded and 6.5mm when opened.
Easily its most obvious upgrade is the 4.1-inch AMOLED screen, which now stretches beyond the dual cameras and the LED flash. It also has a Vision Booster function and can reach up to 2,600 nits of brightness outdoors.
The cover screen also gains support for the Google Gemini and Now Bar.
We also have a bigger main screen, which now uses a 6.9-inch foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel. The Armor FlexHinge is also tougher and 30% thinner.
Samsung decided to go with their own Exynos 2500 chipset on this one, which you can pair with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Charging speeds are still capped at 25W.
For the cameras, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter with optical image stabilization and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 10-megapixel sensor sits on top of the foldable screen.
Ensuring durability is the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the cover screen and the Armor Aluminum frame, like the Z Fold7. It is also IP48 dust and water-resistant.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 12GB/256GB retails for Php70,990 while the 12GB/512GB is available for Php78,9990. It’s now available for pre-order until July 31 with a free storage upgrade worth Php8,000.
