TCL has released three new devices at IFA 2025 in Berlin, made for kids and teenagers.

The TCL NextPaper 5G Junior was announced alongside the TCL MoveTime MT48 smartwatch and TCL PlayCube. They feature quirky designs made for children.

For the smartphone, TCL is shipping it with two protective cases (Blue and Orange) and a ring holder. It also comes with parental controls and a digital detox mode so parents can regulate their child’s smartphone consumption.

As for the hardware, we’re looking at a midrange device powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

A 6.7-inch FHD+ IPS screen is on the front with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. A 50-megapixel main camera is on the back, while the sensor on the front was not mentioned. Keeping the lights on is a 5,200mAh battery.

The TCL NXTPAPER 5G Junior will be available in Europe this October 25 for EUR249 (~Php16,600).
