After the success of the POVA 6 Pro, TECNO has finally introduced the vanilla model: the TECNO POVA 6.
The new TECNO POVA 6 shares the same mecha design as the POVA 6 Pro and the new POVA 6 Neo. In fact, the vanilla and Pro models are essentially the same and only differ in the processor used.
With this model, you’re getting a 4G-only MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor, while the Pro has a 5G-capable Dimensity 6080 chipset.
Other than that, everything else is the same. They both have fancy 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED panels with a high 120Hz refresh rate, a large 6,000mAh battery, and fast 70W charging.
The back has a sharp 108-megapixel main camera, a depth sensor, a ring flash, and the signature Dynamic Light. A sharp 32-megapixel selfie camera is on the front. The tertiary rear sensor from the Pro is now gone.
Software is covered by the latest Android 14-based HiOS 14. It is also IP53 dust and splash resistant, has stereo speakers, and Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos.
The TECNO POVA 6 will be available in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations, with the price yet to be known.
