One of TECNO Mobile’s biggest hits just got a sequel. The TECNO POVA 7 is out sporting killer specs with an entry-level price tag and, of course, an aggressive mecha design.
Big-battery phones are a huge deal these days. The TECNO POVA 7 has an enormous 7,000mAh capacity. That’s bigger than most phones, even those double its price. It can last for up to 14.6 hours of gaming or 19.4 hours of watching Videos.
Thanks to its large battery, you can actually use the POVA 7 like a power bank with its 10W reverse wired charging capability.
Speaking of charging, the POVA 7 has a 45W Flash Charge adapter that, as per TECNO, provides a 50% charge in just 29 minutes or a full one in just 70 minutes.
Powering the device is a decent MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, which still lacks 5G connectivity. It has 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
We then have a large 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 1000Hz instant touch sampling. Audio is provided by the store speakers with Dolby Atmos support, Hi-Res Audio, and Hi-Res Wireless.
There’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera on top of the screen. On the back, there’s a 108-megapixel main shooter joined by a 2-megapixel macro lens.
It ships with Android 15-based HiOS 15 with many AI features: AI Full-Link Call Assistant, AI Text Generator, AI Summarize, AI Eraser, AI Image Extender, Google’s Circle to Search, and more.
The TECNO POVA 7 has an SRP of Php6,999 for the 8GB/128GB and Php7,999 for the 8GB/256GB. They will have an introductory price on TikTok for Php5,999 and Php6,749, respectively. It is also available through TikTok Shop.
