TECNO has introduced the POVA Slim. Alongside the also-new Spark Slim, they’re gearing up TECNO’s competitiveness as we expect to see more ultra-thin phones in the coming months.

The TECNO POVA Slim is only 5.95mm thick and weighs just 156g. TECNO achieved this by making substantial design changes to the internals. For one, the vapor chamber is only 0.3mm thick. They also developed a new Honeycomb space stacking to further improve space efficiency.

It uses a silicon-carbon battery, allowing it to still have a decent 5,160mAh capacity despite its incredible thinness. It is paired with a 45W wired charger with 10W reverse wired charging

A 6.78-inch AMOLED screen is on the front, with a high 144Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. A 13-megapixel selfie camera is on the front..

On the back, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter in a vertical camera island — a design we also expect to see in more devices in the future. It also features a Mood Light LED bar that lights up when you receive notifications.

It ships with Android 15-based HiOS with a suite of AI features. Plus, it is IP64 dust and water-resistant.
