vivo Philippines has officially launched its latest premium foldable phone, the vivo X Fold5.
It may not have the title of being the world’s thinnest foldable phone, but the vivo X Fold5 didn’t skimp on some of the features. For starters, it boasts a 6,000mAh battery — one of the biggest you can find for a device of its kind.
What vivo highlights its incredibly light build of just 217g. It is 4.3mm thick when opened and 9.2mm when folded.
The Fold5 has a Carbon Fiber support hinge that can last up to 600,000 folds. Plus, IPX5, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance for durability. A 2nd-gen Armor Glass protects the cover screen.
Speaking of the screen, it has a large 8.03-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable screen and a 6.53-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display.
Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with generous 512GB of storage, and 16GB of RAM for uncompromised multitasking.
Since it’s from vivo, you’re getting a camera system backed by ZEISS. There’s a 50-megapixel main shooter that uses a Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto that offers 3x optical and 100x digital zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide.
It ships with Android 15-based Funtouch OS 5 and a fast 80W wired charger. 40W wireless charging is also supported.
