vivo has introduced the vivo Y400 Pro, an upscaled model for the series.
The vivo Y400 Pro enjoys a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate and 4500-nits of peak brightness. We have the fingerprint scanner underneath the display, plus wet touch support.
There’s a 32-megapixel selfie camera on top of the display. On the back, we have another sharp 50-megapixel main shooter, but it is only joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. No ultra-wide nor dedicated telephoto lens, but vivo said the sharp main sensor can do 2x portraits.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The latest from the Y series is equipped with a large 5,500mAh battery paired with a 90W adapter that can provide a 0-50% charge in just 19 minutes.
It ships with the latest Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. vivo also highlights its stereo speakers, IP65-rated dust and water resistance, and many AI features like AI Transcript Assist, Note Assist, AI Documents, Screen Translation, and Google’s Circle to Search.
The vivo Y400 Pro 8GB/128GB has a price of INR24,999 (~Php16,600), while the 8GB/256GB comes in at INR26,999 (~Php17,900). They will be available in India starting June 27, with release details in markets like the Philippines yet to be known.
