vivo has introduced the vivo Y50m 5G. It came out alongside the Y50 — both are almost exactly the same, with the latter only available in a single 4GB RAM option.
The vivo Y50m 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 63000 processor, with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB expandable storage.
There’s a large 6,000mAh battery on the back with 44W fast charging. Since it’s a budget phone, it only has an HD+ display but does have a high 90Hz refresh rate.
First launching in China, it comes with Android 15-based OriginOS 5. The international model should get Funtouch OS.
A 13-megapixel main camera is on the back, while a 5-megapixel sensor is on the front for selfies.
vivo also managed to make it IP64 dust- and water-resistant.
The vivo Y50m 5G is now available in China with a starting price of CNY1,199 (~Php9,500) for the 4GB/128GB and CNY2,299 (~Php18,200)for the top-of-the-line 12GB/256GB variant.
