Everyone’s attention is on the Pro model, but let’s not forget that we also got the new Xiaomi 15T during the brand’s extensive global launch event.
The Xiaomi 15T looks the same as the 15T Pro. In fact, they should feel the same in the hands as they share an identical 6.83-inch OLED screen with 3200-nit peak brightness. However, the refresh rate was dropped to 120Hz.
They also enjoy the same 5,500mAh battery, but the charging speed is slower at 67W. Wireless charging is gone.
Due to the price difference, the non-Pro model also has a downgraded chipset. We now have a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor, with the same 12GB of RAM and 3D IceLoop cooling. You can get it with either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
Xiaomi has replaced the Light Fusion 900 sensor with a Light Fusion 800. The telephoto lens only offers 2x optical zoom instead of 5x. They still enjoy Leica Summilux lenses and Leica colors and filters.
As a cherry on top, the 15T has IP68-rated dust and water resistance. The latest Bluetooth 6.0 is also here.
Philippine pricing and availability for the Xiaomi 15T series will be revealed on September 25.
