The Xiaomi Pad 8 has been made official.
It was announced alongside the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. Oh, and the Xiaomi Pad 8 also came out together with the Pad 8 Pro, which shares a lot of similarities with.

Both devices have the same 11.2-inch 3.2K IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate, 9,200mAh battery, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. They differ in the processor, camera, and charging speeds.
The non-Pro model goes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (vs Snapdragon 8 Elite), has a 13-megapixel (vs 50-megapixel) main camera, an 8-megapixel (vs 32-megapixel) selfie shooter, and a 45W (vs 68W) charging support.

Pricing and availability details in the Philippines are yet to be known. However, the Xiaomi Pad 8 is now listed in China with a starting price of CNY2,199 (~Php17,900), while the Matte Edition model with an anti-reflective screen coating costs CNY500 (~Php4,100) more.
