Sony Philippines is bringing one of its biggest and fanciest smart TVs to the country, the new 98-inch BRAVIA 5 Mini LED TV.
The new Sony BRAVIA 5 98-inch Mini 4K LED TV has the brand’s signature XR Triluminos Pro and XR Backlight Master Drive technologies. They unlock incredible picture quality, smart contrast adjustment, and dynamic colors enabled by its powerful XR Processor with AI scene recognition.
It was designed to display movies and series the way creators intended. The new BRAVIA 5 has support for Studio Calibrated Modes, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and IMAX Enhanced. It runs on Google TV, giving you access to apps and content from major streaming services.
This 4K TV has a 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and also supports HDR10 and HLG.
The Eco Dashboard 2 comes with energy-saving controls. Plus, it features Sony’s SORPLAS as the TV is made of recycled plastic, which Sony developed in-house to reduce environmental impact without a compromise in performance.
For connectivity, we have dual-band WiFi 6, LAN port, and Bluetooth 5.3. It also has Chromecast built-in, Apple AirPlay, and Apple HomeKit. It also has four HDMI, HDCP 2.3 support, eARC/ARC, variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low latency mode, and two USB ports.
For audio, we have two full-range bass drivers and two tweeters. It also supports DTS Digital Surround, DTS Express, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, and DTS:X.
The new Sony BRAVIA 5 98-inch Mini 4K LED TV has an SRP of Php333,399 in the Philippines. Pre-order from July 15 to August 3 at select Sony stores and dealers to get a free BRAVIA Theatre Quad HT-A9M2 home theatre system valued at Php144,499.
A Php65,000 downpayment is required for the pre-order units. Units not claimed until August 31, 2025 will be forfeited.
