Xiaomi has just launched a gigantic new smart TV, the 2026 Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED. The new model features a massive 98-inch screen, making it one of the largest TVs regular consumers can buy without stepping into professional projector territory.

The TV is built around a mini-LED display and boasts an incredibly high peak brightness of 5,700 nits. To create deep blacks, the TV uses 3,864 individual dimming zones that can turn on and off independently.

For clarity and smooth motion, the Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2026 features 4K resolution and supports a very high refresh rate. There’s support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ as well. It can display 4K content at up to 165Hz, which is ideal for fast-paced sports and video games. The company also claims the refresh rate can go as high as 330Hz when displaying lower-resolution content.

Like its smartphone siblings, the new Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED runs on HyperOS. It’s also powered by the same XM9000 chipset used on last year’s model.

This TV covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space, which should result in rich and realistic colors. For sound, it comes with a built-in Harman AudioEFX system of seven speakers, improving the audio quality even without a dedicated set of external speakers.

For connectivity, the TV includes a total of 3 HDMI 2.1 ports, one of which supports eARC, along with USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, Ethernet, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The 2026 Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED is now available for purchase in China. Its price is set at the equivalent of about $2,250 US dollars(~Php130,000). There is no official word yet on its availability in other international markets.
