HUAWEI has introduced a new pair of budget-friendly wireless earbuds to the Philippine market. The FreeBuds SE 4 ANC, which goes on sale this September, brings strong active noise cancellation and long battery life at an accessible price point.

The key feature of the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 4 ANC is its active noise cancellation (ANC) system, which the company says can block out up to 50 decibels of outside sound. This is the first time this technology has been included in the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE series. Users can choose between three ANC modes: General for spaces like offices, Ultra for very loud places, and Cozy for quieter environments like libraries. There is also an Awareness mode that lets important sounds, like announcements, come through.

Battery life is another major focus. HUAWEI promises up to 10 hours of listening on a single charge, and a total of 50 hours when using the included charging case. The company states that is enough for a full week of use. If you are in a hurry, a 10-minute charge provides 4 hours of power.

For calls, the earbuds use a triple-microphone system designed to reduce background noise and wind interference, which should help keep your voice clear during conversations.

Each earbud weighs 4.3 grams, which HUAWEI says is lighter than a sheet of A4 paper. They come with three sizes of silicone tips to help users find a comfortable and secure fit. The earbuds have an IP54 rating, making them resistant to dust and splashes of water. They are available in black or white.

The FreeBuds SE 4 ANC uses Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity and is compatible with HarmonyOS, Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS devices.

The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 4 ANC is priced at Php1,999 in the Philippines. It will be sold exclusively online through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and the HUAWEI Online Store.
