Beats by Apple announced a new pair of fitness-focused wireless earbuds. The product, called the Powerbeats Fit, arrives as a refresh of the 2022 Beats Fit Pro, now brought under the established Powerbeats brand name.
A key improvement in the Powerbeats Fit is a more comfortable design. The flexible wingtip that secures the earbud inside the ear has been redesigned to be 20 percent more flexible. The company states this update should provide a better fit for a wider range of users, including those who may have found previous wingtip models uncomfortable. The charging case has also been made more compact, with a 17 percent reduction in size compared to the prior version. For personalization, the earbuds now come with four sizes of ear tips instead of three.

Under the hood, the audio technology remains largely the same as the Beats Fit Pro. The Powerbeats Fit are equipped with Appleās H1 chip, enabling features like Active Noise Cancellation and a Transparency mode for hearing your surroundings. They also support Adaptive EQ, which automatically tunes music for rich sound, and Personalized Spatial Audio for an immersive listening experience.
The battery life is unchanged from the previous generation. Users can expect up to six hours of listening with noise cancellation turned on, or seven hours with it turned off. The charging case provides additional power for a total of 30 hours of battery life. A feature called Fast Fuel provides an hour of playback after just a five-minute charge.
The Powerbeats Fit are available for order starting in the US today at a price of $199.99. They are being offered in four color options: Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink.
