To protect users, SEEK uses automated systems and human reviewers to screen employers and their job ads. The company also lets candidates report suspicious posts directly. These measures have stopped thousands of risky employers and removed many fraudulent ads from the platform.
Criminals are now using more advanced tricks, including artificial intelligence. They also impersonate real company staff, often contacting victims through messaging apps like Viber.
