The OPPO Find X9 has upgrades in all the right places. But easily the biggest one is on the battery. In fact, both the Find X9 and X9 Pro now have bigger batteries than their predecessors.
For the Find X9, we now have a 7,025mAh capacity, which is 1,395mAh bigger than the Find X8. Hence, expect slightly longer charging times as the wired and wireless charging speeds are the same.

Of course, the newer model has the more current flagship chip from MediaTek. The new Dimensity 9500 offers more power and efficiency than its predecessor’s Dimensity 9400.
The main camera also has the newer LYT-808 sensor, but the rest is the same. The display, software support, durability, and audio appears to be the same.
So, should you upgrade? If you’re coming from the Find X8, it might be best to wait and make the most out of your ~1-year-old phone. But if you’re many generations behind, or if you’re coming from a midrange or entry-level phone, then you might want to check out the latest OPPO Find X9.
