Last week, Qualcomm unveiled its new Snapdragon X Elite, an SoC designed for Windows and set to be released in mid-2024. And so far, we’ve got several major PC manufacturers with plans to incorporate the chip into their upcoming devices.

During the second day of presenting the Snapdragon X Elite to the press, Qualcomm shared a presentation slide that shows confirmed PC partners. In total, there are nine manufacturers that will likely be using the chip to power their future laptops:

Built using a 4nm process, the Snapdragon X Elite promises top-tier CPU performance, advanced on-device AI capabilities, and extended battery life. The chip is equipped with a 12-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU with Dual-Core Boost. There’s also an integrated Adreno GPU that supports DirectX 12 API and can manage three external UHD 60Hz monitors. Qualcomm claims that, when compared to its competitors, the Snapdragon X Elite can match peak PC performance while using up to 68 percent less power.
