Samsung has quietly added a new 4K gaming monitor to its Odyssey G7 lineup, though it’s currently only listed on the company’s Malaysian website. The Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F features a 37-inch curved screen, making it the largest in the series and an unusual size compared to most monitors.
Unlike many high-end displays moving to OLED, this model sticks with a VA panel. It offers a 165Hz refresh rate, a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 1ms response time, along with support for DisplayHDR 600 and HDR10+ Gaming. However, its typical brightness of 350 nits is on the lower side for HDR content.
For connectivity, the monitor includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a few USB-A ports. Notably, it lacks USB-C and DisplayPort 2.1, which are becoming more common in premium monitors. Right now, Samsung’s only Odyssey model with DisplayPort 2.1 is the massive 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9.
Other features listed on Samsung’s product page include AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for smoother gameplay, Auto Source Switch+ (which automatically detects and switches to connected devices), and customizable RGB lighting with CoreSync & CoreLighting+.
There’s no official word yet on Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F’s global release or pricing, but the monitor’s appearance in Malaysia suggests it may roll out to other regions soon.
