Electronic Arts and PopCap Games have announced Plants vs Zombies: Replanted, a complete remaster of the original game, launching on October 23, 2025.
The visual upgrade immediately stands out, with characters and environments receiving a complete HD overhaul. But this isn’t just a fresh coat of paint, the developers have added substantial new content as well.
For the first time in the series, Plants vs Zombies: Replanted will include local co-op, letting players team up to fend off zombie waves together. There’s also a PvP mode, turning the backyard battles into competitive showdowns.
EA has not yet announced pricing details, but confirmed additional information will be revealed during a dedicated showcase event in September.
