Sony is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation in style.

The company teamed up with watchmaker Anicorn to create the limited edition PlayStation 30th Anniversary Mechanical Watch. This memorabilia is a first for the brand and would be an incredible must-have for long-time fans with money to burn.

Sony will only make 300 pieces worldwide, and each piece will cost USD780 (~Php45,800). If you’re really interested in getting one, make sure you act fast, as prices will inevitably skyrocket once it hits resellers.

As of writing, the watch is now listed on Anicorn’s website with a timer set to end on December 19, 11 AM Philippine time, for when pre-orders will start.

Looking at the design, the watch is heavily inspired by the first PlayStation. From the colorway, the PS1 logo, and the iconic shape buttons are heavily featured within the watch face and the strap.

“30” is etched on the glass back, giving a peek at the mechanisms on the inside.

The watch features a Miyota 9039 mechanical movement, lasts for 42 hours when fully wound, has sapphire glass, is 50 meters (5ATM) water-resistant, and boasts a 316L stainless steel housing.

It then comes with a commemorative box, which includes a classic PlayStation Memory Card that works as an NFC tag accessory.

The PlayStation Mechanical Watch will ship in June 2026.
