Rockstar Games has a new update for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI: Delayed again.
In a statement published on its social media pages, Rockstar Games announced that GTA VI’s release has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 19, 2026.
Apologetic, Rockstar Games explained that the extra months added will allow them to complete the game “with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.”
You can read the full statement below.

This is the second delay Rockstar Games has announced since the game’s first trailer was released more than a year ago.
In the first trailer, GTA VI has been announced to come out in 2025. It was later moved to May 26, 2026.
While painful for the fans, this delay is not surprising considering the developer’s history of delaying releases. But with how groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are, the long wait for GTA VI should be (hopefully) worth it.
