Sony has announced the FlexStrike, its first internally developed arcade-style fight stick, set to make its public debut at Evo 2025 in Las Vegas.
Compatible with PC and PlayStation 5, the Sony FlexStrike offers both wired USB-C and wireless connectivity via Sony’s PlayStation Link adapter. The wireless mode is designed for minimal lag and supports simultaneous audio connections with compatible headsets like the Pulse Explore earbuds and Pulse Elite headphone. Up to two FlexStrike controllers can pair with a single adapter for local multiplayer, while a DualSense can remain connected for navigating menus.
The fight stick features a digital joystick, eight (8) mechanical buttons with DualSense-like responsiveness, and a built-in touchpad. Additional controls include a directional input switch and a lock button to avoid accidental presses during gameplay. For customization, users can swap between square, circular, and octagonal restrictor gates, which are stored in compartments beneath the controller’s non-slip base.

Ergonomically designed with angled edges for comfort, the FlexStrike includes a carrying sling and runs on a rechargeable battery. Hands-on demos will be available at Evo 2025 at the Arc System Works booth and the Fight Stick Museum.
The Sony FlexStrike Arcade Fight Stick is scheduled for a full release in 2026, though Sony has not yet shared pricing details.
